Message from the our Founder

Art is integral in our culture because it provides us with a deeper understanding of emotions, self-awareness, and so much more. The more I thought about it and embraced the spirit of artistic creativity, the more compelled I felt to be involved in this process which quickly grew into a burning need for the dedication to create selflessly, to revive true art, to defend eternal-spiritual values of the human personality.

Hence, Good Mornings Coffeehouse & Art Gallery was born and with it, my determination to raise awareness and challenge contemporary worldviews on the phenomenon of art, culture and community more closely and critically than ever before.

I believe one of the indicators of a healthy community; the kind of place that is likely to be loved and endured has good evidence of creative expression. Whether it’s painting, photography, music, dance, sculpture, performance or something else, people like being around artists who inspire not just our rational selves but also our more intuitive, “right-side-of-the-brain” selves. Your life is your message to the world so why not make it inspiring. Support Local Art and Community and bring some art into your life.  Who doesn’t like a good cup of Coffee and Art sounds like a fabulous combination to me!

Our Mission Statement

To create multiple platforms for women, men and their families with a purpose and a passion: To enhance people’s lives through fun, inspiration, creativity and self-expression! To provide a supportive environment that promotes and fosters inclusion of people of all ages, bringing art and people together for enjoyment, discovery, and learning.

We strive to create a place where people of every background can be touched by art. We are committed to exhibitions and programs that will strengthen and sustain our community. Passion4Arts project was created in service of a larger movement that values equity, fairness and progress across all of society. We believe art changes people and people change the world.

Our Palette of Core Values

Connection:  Authentic experiences and bonds fuel us. We believe that everyone needs someone to trust, to share honestly with, and to enable us to be accountable to ourselves. We need spaces where we can be ourselves, to have our own ideas and vision. Art making connects us and builds community.

Voice: The diverse voices of all generations drive the direction of our programs and our organization.

Inclusion: Everyone is on equal footing. We believe everyone is ready to inspire or be inspired, that all of us have something to teach or to learn.

Leadership: The baton is yours for the taking. We believe everyone can lead a project and that with direction and support passionate people can achieve their goals. The same person can be a supportive follower and a visionary.

Risk: A push into new and positive directions. We find beauty in mistakes or failure. It is hard to dare when fear of screwing up, letting down, or reprisal looms. You can’t grow if you don’t dare.

Loyalty: We celebrate artists, writers, and performers at all skill levels and provide support for artistic growth.

Art does not portray the visible, it makes things visible. –Paul Klee
